Almost 700 participants congregated at the Intercontinental Athenaeum hotel in Athens for the Argus Europe Fertilizer conference, the region’s busiest networking event. The conference
has been running for 32 years and has become a key date in the diary for the fertilizer industry. Delegates travelled to Athens from 55 countries and represented 350 companies from across the
fertilizer supply chain.
Delegates took the chance to catch up with many of their contacts during one business trip and connect with potential new partners. The networking area remained full for the duration of the three-day event with rotating 30-minute meeting slots. The annual event was supported by international sponsors this year including Indagro, Hellagrolip, FertilizerPlus by ICL, Sirius Minerals, Borealis, PFIC, Evergrow, New Karvali, Dow, Ma’aden and Solvay. The conference agenda, made up of 30 speakers spanning China, Iran, the US, Israel and Africa as well as and many representatives from across Europe, offered a range of commercial and technical insights.
